Baseline am/pm Frenqently Asked Questions

Why should I take Baseline am/pm?

Baseline am/pm has been specially designed to give a broad spectrum of important nutrients to help maintain and support a healthy body. We are convinced that Baseline am/pm gives the best nutritional foundation of any products currently available.

There are hundreds of cheap vitamins on the supermarket shelves. Why should I buy Baseline?

Cheap multi-vitamins can have very low amounts of active ingredients, sometimes combined with other "filler" ingredients that affect the absorption, to the point where they are hardly worth taking. Baseline has the optimum amounts of the best nutrients to get the maximum results. Designed to be taken at different times of the day, maximising the benefits and effectiveness of the anti-oxidant zinc and copper. The time gap allows for the first mineral to be completely absorbed.

So what does Baseline am/pm have in them and why?

Baseline am contains Vitamin D to maintain healthy bones and support the immune system. Co-Enzyme Q10 helps support optimal energy production (it also acts as an anti-oxidant). Pine Bark Extract is a very powerful anti-oxidant which has been researched in a wide variety of conditions. Baseline am also provides a selection of key minerals, chromium, magnesium, manganese, selenium and zinc.
Baseline pm contains Vitamin A, a fat soluble vitamin for immune function. Betacarotene, an anti-oxidant, supports the immune system. Thiamin, a Co factor important for heart, muscles and nervous system. Vitamin B12 which is important in supporting the formation of red blood cells and the nervous system. Riboflavin (B2), a Co factor to enzymes, important for energy production. Niacin (B3), a Co factor for enzymes which convert Omega-3 into EPA. Pantothenic Acid, important for fatty acid production. Vitamin B6, a Co factor for enzymes which convert Omega-3 into EPA. Biotin, a Co enzyme important for energy production. Vitamin C, an important Co factor/anti-oxidant. Vitamin E, a fat soluble anti-oxidant which helps protect Omega-3. Folic Acid, an essential nutrient which supports and maintains a healthy cardio-vascular system and supports omega effectiveness. Baseline pm also contains Copper, Manganese and Calcium.

Does it matter if you take Baseline pm in the morning instead of the evening and vice versa?

No, but we would still recommend taking am in the morning and pm in the evening.

Is Baseline suitable for everyone to take?

Baseline am is not suitable for pregnant or lactating women or children. Baseline pm has no restrictions. Baseline am/pm is also suitable for Vegetarians and is Gluten, Soya and Yeast free.

Are these products suitable for long term use?

Yes. In fact we recommend long term use.

Can these products be taken with medication?

Chromium may lower blood glucose and anyone on glucose lowering medication for diabetes should consult their doctor. Several other nutrients can lower blood pressure and your blood pressure may need to be monitored more closely. It may result in a reduction in medication which can only be a good thing (again, consult your doctor if this applies to you). Iron supplements interfere with absorption of zinc and copper and should be taken at a separate time two hours apart from either Baseline am or pm.
